Tanker 21 Mutual Aid to Westside F.D. -Mt Boucherie Fire 1996

We respond to incidents in the Municipality including fires (of any type), MVA's, Rescues, Public Assistance, First Responder (medical), Boat / Water Rescue as well as basic Hazmat calls.

We hold regular training sessions 4 times a month, on Monday nights and several special practices each year.

The PFRS participates in the regional Mutual Aid agreement and has responded to communities in the North and South to aid during the summer forest fire season in recent years.

The department also assists the BC Ambulance service as "First Responders" and most members are trained as First Responder Level III.
